On May 26th, 2025, the CircBioCare team had the pleasure of participating in the NVMS Spring Meeting at Sanquin Research in Amsterdam. Organised by the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Massaspectrometrie (NVMS), this annual meeting brings together scientists and innovators from across the Netherlands to explore cutting-edge developments in mass spectrometry.
As a research initiative dedicated to identifying circulating epigenetic and protein biomarkers for early osteoarthritis care, CircBioCare was proud to be part of this vibrant scientific community. The meeting served as an excellent platform to share our latest findings and engage with fellow experts in analytical science.
Oral Presentation by Rimsha Saif
Our team member Rimsha Saif delivered an oral presentation on behalf of the CircBioCare project, highlighting our recent progress in the integration of mass spectrometry techniques for biomarker discovery. Her talk emphasised the project’s goal of improving early diagnosis and personalised care for osteoarthritis through the detection of non-invasive molecular signatures in blood.

In addition to the oral presentation, members of the CircBioCare team contributed several poster presentations, covering a varied range of research topics. These posters sparked meaningful discussions with peers and industry representatives alike, leading to new connections and potential collaborations.

The event gathered scientists and representatives from across the mass spectrometry landscape, including Bruker, MS Vision, MSWIL, Waters, Shimadzu, and ThermoFisher Scientific. It was a valuable opportunity for our team to explore the latest technological innovations that could strengthen our analytical pipelines.
